There were no clues that this is more of a children's math book than a book about Escher While it does talk about Escher it is a thin,32 page magazine type book and very overpriced. This book felt rushed and the first quarter is spent explaining characters and settings from the first volume. Then the boy's uncle, Hugh Westbrook finds him and Joanna, and after they talk and Hugh may be able to help her find her property in exchange for caring for the boy for a while, they ride together to his sheep station, Merinda. The author deals with the subject matter by traveling the world and examining the various methods of disposal used, as well as the technologies that are available to safely dispose of the massive amount of excreta produced every day around the world.
